Riverwalk Sunsets

When you see the beautiful sunsets of Botswana, it is inevitable that you will take a picture. Watching the evolution of the sky from day to night is mesmerizing. But sometimes, you're in so much awe that you forget to pull out your phone to take a quick pic, and that's okay.

This was taken at Riverwalk Mall in Gaborone, following half an hour or so of thundershowers.
I guess this is a reminder that dark clouds can turn into beautiful sunsets.

Imagine describing the contrast between the colourful sky and the dark silhouette of the statue. It would sound so poetic. After a meal and milkshakes with one of my favourite people in the world, this sunset was pathetic fallacy at its finest, to say the least.

If you're ever looking for a place to unwind, no matter what time of day, and you so happen to be in Gaborone, do visit Johnny Jalapenos. Maybe you too, will catch the sunset.
