8 Photos Of Happiness Tag

After my endless ranting on last week's Love/Hate Tag, I feel like I owe you guys a sincere apology. I did not want to come on here and write a long essay on how I'm really a nice human being, but I wanted to do something a little more...uplifiting.

Thankfully, the hilarious Helena from Helena's Teabreak tagged me in Ariel's 8 Photos Of Happiness Tag that she recently started and is doing very well!

Here are the rules
  • Thank your nominator/s and link them in your post.
  • Link the creator (Ariel’s little corner of the internet)
  • Post your 8 photos of happiness;
  • The photos can be anything that represents a moment, object, place or feeling that makes you happy.
  •  Pop in a brief description of the photo, why you chose it or let the photos do the talking!
  • Spread the happiness and tag up to ten other bloggers!
So... let's get into it!

Please excuse the photos as they were taken on my phone!

1) Hot Drinks
I know, very basic. But I love having a hot drink, especially in the middle of winter when it's your only source of warmth and happiness!

2) My Best Friend

This is a bit of a throwback picture when I thought that red lipstick meant +10 years. But nope, we were just seventeen year olds with red lipstick on. Anyways, by bestie, Queen B is the awesomest person ever and will lift anyone's mood in a matter of seconds!

3) The Rurals/Countryside

I was planning on going to uni in (basically) the middle of nowhere. London, I love you but the crowds of people living the fast life, always in a race against time just dampens the atmosphere (or is it just the weather?). I used to hate (hate, meaning being on the verge of insanity) the lack of civilisation, no TV, no internet, but now, it's like a breath of fresh air.
This photo was taken in my home village and it is raw, unedited, zero filters. Just look at it.

4) Travelling

I love exploring new places and I hope to do it some more over the coming years. This photo was taken last December in Barcelona.

5) Street Art

This is a bit of a controversial one, but I love looking at street art. Not vandalism or any offensive kind of spray painting, but meaningful or aesthetically pleasing murals, you know? This photo was taken just off of Portobello Road here in London.

6) Peace

Again, with the fast-life of today, you hardly find time to just exhale and relax. Being stress-free and calm is one of the best ways to stay happy (Should I become psychologist or nah? :P)

7) Trying New Recipes

You guys know I love food. I'm always tweeting, talking, photographing and blogging about food. I love trying out new things I find on Pinterest or even recreating restaurant dishes!

8) Botswana Sunsets

A day does not go by without one appreciating the sunsets in Botswana. Wherever you are, at around 5 or 6 pm in the winter, the sky will burst into a canvas full of colours and it's just mesmerizing. This photo was taken last summer in Gaborone. (cue homesickness)

Finding these 8 photos was pretty tough, I'm not going to lie. Mainly because my camera roll consists of memes and ugly Snapchats. But this tag really made me smile. Thanks to my girl Helena for tagging me and the wonderful Ariel for starting this tag!
I have nooo idea who to tag, but I will update this page as soon as I have my tagged peeps!

Until next time,
Peace and Love
