We all lack motivation at some point during our lives. I'm a lazy bum a majority of the time. Me being "inspired" comes about when I have either watched motivational videos, read inspirational quotes on Instagram or read articles that make me think about life.
try something new for 30 days

This happens to all of us. We see something, hear something or read something that instantly changes the way we view a certain subjects. The after effects? Feeling invincible. You feel like you can do anything you put your mind to, you can conquer all that comes your way. For about 5 minutes, that is.

It's great that some things to have long-term effects of motivation, but a majority of the time, at least for me, this new found motivation lasts a maximum of one week before I return to the rut I was stuck in before.

I remember watching Prince Ea's video on YouTube, feeling super inspired to save the world then I realised that I'm probably not going to do anything major to stop deforestation.
There are a few things, however, that have changed my mind, and that have caused me to do take action. It takes that one thing...whatever it is, be it someone you meet, something you eat (coz I'm always hungry ya know) or something you read....that one thing can change everything. (cue emotional music)


On my previous blog, I mentioned the reason why I started the blog. It was in the form of a 30 day challenge. Each day I wrote a post based on writing prompts I found on Pinterest. My 30 Day Blog Challenge was inspired by this TED Talks video right here:

Matt Cutts talks  about how he was stuck in a rut until he decided to try something new for 30 days. He encourages you to just try even if you suck. I knew I sucked at writing and blogging, but I tried it, and people liked it. They laughed (at least they pretended to), they gave me so many positive comments (apart from some people, but I'm adopting an IDGAF attitude nowadays) and they encouraged me to continue it. Sadly, the IB consumed every free minute I had, so I couldn't really blog consistently. But I'm here now and I'm here to stay. :P 
Just wanted to share the reason why this site exists with you guys, but the main point of this post is to encourage you to try something new for 30 days. Like Beyonce and her diet peeps say, it takes 21 days to from a habit....so just do it!
