BenevoLent Challenge Wrap Up

Hello everyone!

Today's post is really quick.
Happy Easter to all of you and I hope you're having a wonderful time with your friends and family.

I took part in The Children's Society's BenevoLent campaign for the past few weeks. I chose to give up takeaway and sweets, as I am (or should I say, I was) obsessed with the two.

The first week was the most difficult as I had to remind myself to not walk into that takeaway store. I used this time as an opportunity to try out new recipes that I've seen on other blogs and in cooking books. I spiced things up a little by adding my own ingredients to recipes.

This challenge has helped me better my lifestyle, and become a better cook! yay!

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to share the full experience with you as I started having issues with my computer, which lead to me losing all my photos and making it difficult to blog.

It became easier and easier for me to not buy takeaway. I found out that I really do like salads! (I previously referred to salad as rabbit food)

Here are a few pictures

I really enjoyed this challenge and I hope to do it next year too (I just need to think of something else to give up).
I hope to one day be involved in full-time (or part-time) charity work with organisations from all over  the world, and this has been a small step in the right direction.

The Children's Society is a great organisation that is doing a great job of making a change.

Be sure to check out their website for more information and upcoming events.

Until Next Time,
 Peace and Love
