Things To Give Up and Things to Take Up

Hello everyone, I hope you're all well! 

You know when you have that urge to change your lifestyle? Whether its something big or something small, we all want to change something. That change can start by reducing your use/consumption of something or giving it up altogether. 

Following my post about Lent, I decided to give you a few ideas of things you can give up. I have categorised the lists, with everything from food to technology! I hope you get some inspiration from this.

Things you can give up:

Technology/Social Networks

- Instagram filters
- Television
- Facebook
- Twitter
- Tumblr
- Instagram
- Earphones/headphones


Food

- Sweets
- Salt
- Meat
- Coffee
- Sugar
- Cookies
- Fast food

Other:
- Baths. take showers instead
- Friday nights out
- procrastination ( I am very guilty of this)
- Swearing
- Smoking
-Drinking

It's not only about giving up luxuries, but also, adding value to your lives. I have created a list below to give you ideas of how you can add value to your life. 

What to add to your life 

- Spend more time  with your family 
- Do some charity work. e.g a fundraiser or even at a charity shop
- being a better friend to someone that needs your friendship more than ever.
-  being on time to places.  

If you decide to give something up during Lent or just because you want to, this is the best time to do it. :P It not too late into the year to give up, so what's your excuse?
